Red Man died on August 28, 2008. I'm leaving this page up as a tribute to him
and all the good memories he gave us. We enjoyed the success we had with his offspring and hearing from and participating
with so many other people as he helped them do what they came to do-
GET THEIR NAME CALLED.
We are proud to offer at stud Ch. Pond Creek Red Man. He is one of the most recognized stud hounds in foxhunting.
Chase Magazine has published his status as high as 8th on the Bench Count Of Sires
and 10th in the Field Count Of Sires.
Of the hundreds of stud hounds advertised and non-advertised today, and the thousands of foxhounds in general, we consider
owning one of the top ten in the world an honor and huge accomplishment.
You can often tell right away that a dog is a "Red Man" dog by it's size and conformation. They are often several inches
taller, chests deeper, and legs longer than similiarly aged dogs. Their "hams" seem to be more well formed and muscular,
and they walk on their tiptoes. This contributes to the overwhelming number of bench show and Combination wins his offspring
have brought home.
We often have pups for sale off Red Man and proven gyps. We have made these crosses several times and know they work.
Most of the time, these are not ordinary females, but true field trial competitors of their own right. These pups sell very
fast, so reservations are accepted. We often find it difficult to keep as many as we would like because the demand is high.
The stud fee for Ch. Pond Creek Red Man stands at $150.00 with no puppy proposition and a return priviledge.
